PRENATAL MASSAGE THERAPY
Massage Therapy during pregnancy is a great way to reduce stress and promote wellness for both Mom and Baby! Massage can help relieve many of the normal discomforts experienced during pregnancy such as backaches, hip pain, foot and ankle pain, neck and shoulder tightness, foot and hand swelling or edema and more. At Body Balance Massage Therapy, we understand the changes a body goes through during pregnancy and how massage can best benefit each individual.
We have options to accommodate each client’s comfort as well. You can be treated side lying, fully draped and supported with pillows or if you prefer to be lying face down, we have a pregnancy pillow that will allow for that! Your comfort comes first, so we will make sure you are in the best position during your treatment.
POSTNATAL MASSAGE THERAPY
After baby is just as important of a time for a new mom to take care of herself! Taking care of a newborn brings about new challenges and stresses on the body and massage can help those new aches and pains from lifting, carrying, new sleep schedules/positions, etc.
